Curious if you can place frags of various types of encrusting montipora, leptoseris or cyphastrea together. I've got a sunset monti and a rainbow monti i'd like to place on the same rock, but don't want to chance losing them. Same with leptoseris, currently have a large hulk lepto, debated mounting a jack o lantern next to it. Also have a meteor shower and a tyree brick cyphastrea... thoughts?

Montis are peaceful so stinging won't be an issue. However, if one of them has a slight advantage over the other one, the stronger one will overgrow the other one. As life has it, the one you like the best is the one that will lose out.

I hope to revive this post! Ihave been doing ebay auctions and picked up only one lepto which is a jack o lantern. I am doin another auction that has daisy stylocoeniella and Bizarro cyphaestra.

I already have some frags I just received of meteor showers and two jack o lanterns.

I also have some encrusting favias. I know favias have a stong sting. I have a dragon souls as well. Stupid buys but couldnt resist the price on the favias. Can I mix dragon soul with encrusting favia or is there even a such thing? They are about 2 inches and look encrusting.

I have a lot of tonga on the back of my tank and have never permanetly placed anything on them.

I have drilled holes and have zoas in some of the holes but dont want the whole back wall of a 36 gallon all zoas.

I have a bridge connecting them that I am going to put some lps with movement. I have a chalice sitting there that seems to be doing well unattached on a big plug.

I have no idea of par!
