Mixing lighting

So I am in the process of grabbing extra lighting for my upgrade from a 3 foot to a 6 foot reef. I currently am running 1 hydra edge 44 and 2 AI primes. I have the opportunity to get a 2 year old Reefbreeders Photon V2 pro 48 for a really good price. ($350) The thought it to use the photon 48 in the middle with the primes and hydra on the sides. Then replace the primes with another hydra down the road. This is going to be a sps dominated reef just like my 3 foot reef but I’m hesitant to get the photon because I’m worried the lights won’t blind well together. I also built a canopy that can be raised and lowered very easily and have a railing system on the inside that can mount any light I need to. You will not be able to see the lights inside of it either once lowered.

My question is do y’all think these lights will blend well and not look funny with the different spectrums coming from two different brands?

Tank looks awesome. I think for that price it’s worth a try. I actually prefer mixing brands of lighting. I’m using ecotech lighting for my primary units and orphek light bars to supplement

Thank you! I have been working on this tank for the last three months and cycling it before my transfer. I usually try to stay with one brand for lighting just because of ease of use. I also have two AI blades for an extra pop on the 3 footer but I am really considering this Reefbreeders light. I mean I know they have some punch to them but my AI products have a lot of shimmer to them and I’m wondering if I’ll have patches a shimmer and then the middle having none because of the Reefbreeders. I think I might try it but am curious if other have experience with mixing them.
