I used to be 308lbs... One of the keys to my success is that I drop as much sugary foods as possible (although I eat tons of cookies around the holidays but I do not gain weight because I run 22-25 miles each week and lift weights 3x per week also). I also do not eat fried food. Anyway, I have since gotten used to unsweetened tea and now sweet tea tastes bad to me.

I do miss regular mountain dew and such....

I dont like sugary drinks either. I use zero calorie sweetner in my tea. I have to have it sweet. But now any drinks with real sugar taste weird to me too.

We have some very good places around here, but you have to know where to look. There is seafood on every corner in savannah.

Actually, I grew up in NJ. (Voorhees) You're right, there wasn't any BBQ there really either. A few places came and went.

I'll be in DFW at the end of the month. I told them already lunch will be BBQ, dinner will be BBQ daily. If they don't like it, tough. I'm the one that signs the checks :D

Oh yeah, and paula deens place lady and sons. Which hardly anyone from savannah eats there. Its very overrated. I will say its the best fried chicken ivehad.

If your not to far from Jersey there have been a couple of places that came in. But to be honest I have yet to find anyplace that comes close to mine.
