Molt or dead fire shrimp?

Is this a molt or the body? I can't honestly tell.

It's been in there since July, I think. I don't think this looks like a molt.

Why do you need to do anything? Shrimp looks to be in his cave.

How long has he been in that position? I would expect a still time before a molt.

He was like this all day yesterday. It doesn't look like a molt, IMO, it looks like he had problems with molting and died.

So, if it’s been dead now for more than 24 hour, then it should be very obvious. How about a recent picture with white light?
