This is awesome. I 'll go through the source code and check if i can use some bits for my raspberry pi based controller. It has some core things now, but i was looking for sms integration

Wow so it's been 7 years already...
The two devices I built keep monitoring two recifal tanks faultlessly.

I've made progress in 3D design, so I've improved their case a lot. With the old ones the jack sockets were getting salt water projections and oxidized.

Here is the much fancier new design:

I've also been able to design a connected feeder, check it out.

Do you monitor salinity?
I have two arduinos - one is running doser pumps. The other monitors PH, temp, water levels, leak alarm

No I don't.
I have switched to Jaubert method tank several years back, so no more pump, no more water changing (actually, may be 20% once a year...)

I check salinity once in a while with a refractometer and never needed to adjust it.

This device only checks light intensity and schedule, temperature, water level and main power (it has a battery to send an SMS in case of main failure).
