Monti Color Change.

Hey All

Anyone seen their Red Monti Change color.
This monti I got a year ago and it was the usual rusty red color.
It's been through a couple of rough patches as it started in my 50 gallon cube the went into the new 300 I up graded to. It then morphed into a beautiful rich purple. I like it better now but Ive just never seen that much of a drastic color change before.

yep different trace elements in your tank can cause certain colors to come out other then the older colors. Its why a lot of coral websites hate WYSIWYG sections since people complain about how the color isn't the same.
