I've had this montipora for a couple months or so it's been growing but loosing it's vibrancy. Went from bright green to a pinkish. All polyps are still there and alive for the time being. I gave it I dipin some coralrx today to see if it would help and seen polyp retraction in the dull areas.
Parameters:
Temp 78.8
Ca 450
Mg 1380
Kh 8.9
Nitrates 10
Po4 0
SG 1.024

Assuming Po4 is actually 0 I would try and boost that up. I believe there is also a trace element that promotes green colorations but can’t remember which one it is off of the top of my head

All tests were done with salifert test kits I did have a small amount of gha added 5 more emeralds and algae is gone. The reactor just had chaeto added so im assuming that po4 is just being consumed?

Insufficient light and no phosphate
For my light set up I followed brs recommended settings/ mounting to get my tank to average 150-200 par for the xr30 g5 blues and I've got the montipora roughly in the middle. I have not rented a par meter could the lights still be the issue? Is there a better test kit for po4 than salifert?

You have already been told about phosphate.
I would additionally check the potassium level.

Agree with all about the need to keep measurable PO4 always available. Hanna ULR for that. NeoPhos is a decent supplement. If you are really at 0, it can take a bottle or two as it binds to your rock and sand.

If Hanna says you are >0, then next would be lighting or pests. If ur 150-200 PAR that should be enough, but they can take more.

Lastly, the dip in CoralRx would have stunned off any potential monti eating nudis, but they are not always easy to see without a solid dark background. They literally look like half of a snowflake. Very delicate and white.

I had the same thing happen to my chili pepper Monti and came to the conclusion w/ some research on here I had a all spike (my fault), but I can see you have a red Monti in photo as do I and no affect on my red Monti.
