moon lights importance ?

U can actually buy just moonlights for decently cheap already assembled. At some online stores. I just didnt know if these moonlights that claimed to give off a certain type of beneficial lighting did just that or if it was a fancy way of saying here buy me

http://www.ebay.com/itm/280905559007 these are the ones I had on my 180g. Not needed no since my led light fixture has them built in. They are great. Had a set to bad over a yr and he mailed new ones. Moonlights do add nighttime viewing and according to the experts no reef in the Wild is ever 100% dark. There is always some sort of light albeit sometimes very little. Now this contributes to spawning cycles of fish but most of us aren't really expecting that. What it does do though is allow night viewing and I believe keep your fish a little stress free due to it simulating their natural nighttime environment. Just my .02
