T5 lighting seems to be where I want to go. I purchased a fixture on sale. Now it says t5 but no HO t5. Which is high output. I'm not sure the difference and would it work with my fixture?

It would work but you don't want to use them, totally not the same lamps. You need HO T5 Lamps. Big difference if light output.

For the hell of it (and cuz I returning it would me store credit) I hooked it up with its stock lighting. It went from

It's really a heck of a difference. It might not be high output, but in my tiny little 30g everything is much much brighter.

Thoughts?
