Morning pH and Cloudy Water

So I did my water test a little early this morning, right after the lights came on and my pH tested at 7.6. I know pH doesn't get too much concern as long as it isn't extremely low. As far as I know this is outside of the suggested range for SPS. Does anyone see any issue with a morning pH this low? In addition my water seems kind of cloudy and I have brand new carbon running through my reactor. My thoughts are bacteria bloom since I was using a probiotic. If it is a bloom could that not lower the pH in my tank since they would be using up oxygen? Any help would be greatly appreciated :D

My pH has never been high in the history of the tank, roughly 3 years. It has always been between 7.8 and 8.0. I have my skimmer intake running outside and a refugium. Today is the first day I tested it this early so its the first Ive noticed it. I usually test midday and its around 7.8. So it may have been for a little while. I have had some tissue recession but I didn't even think about pH.
Calcium-480ppm
Alk-7.0dkh
Mg-1350ppm
NO3-0.5ppm
PO4-0.006ppm

I do have caulerpa but Its looks really good and Ive never had any issues with it before. As a side note I am seeing some spots on my acros that literally look like they are dissolving skeleton. Maybe its me looking for an answer but can't low pH cause dissolution of aragonite?

If your ph is really 7.6 it could be melting the corals. But I bet it's from caulpera

You might want to calibrate your pH meter just to be sure. What probiotic did you use. Some require half dosage to start as they can cause water to go cloudy.

I would increase your alk to 9 dkh over some time, that would increase your ph readings. I also think you might need to calibrate probe if you are using one. Usually alk swings can cause burning of the tips of your sps, so bring it up slowly.Where the recession on the sps corals?
