Tank Update time.
Despite the advice not to I may have moved to quickly.
Due to a dead acro I received in the mail fouling my QT water I had to advance my plans and evacuate all my corals to my DT. It might have been ok leaving the corals in the QT however it smelt like death. God it was bad.

I added some more rock work and got my lights par'd in. Photo taken through WWC coral glasses. <-best of 3 glasses tried.

Everything was going good until about 3 weeks ago. I did have some really bad film algea on the glass at 1 point but it went away in a week. Now however I have something much worse. I have a strong feeling it is dinos.

I am waiting to see if I can someone to ID it then I will be going to battle and will report my progress and hopeful success.

Current battle plans include UV to start followed by increasing water temp to 82 then 83. If that doesnt work then h2o2 and blackouts.

So good news. The algae has been receding with the addition of a UV and lowered white light run time. Either that or it was just an ugly phase.

The in tank uv light was bleeding out and burned my leptoseris. Im thinking it will recover.

Next battle I will have to face will be a combo of red Planaria flatworms and green cyano. Hoping to get a pink streaked wrasse but they seem hard to find. Will see what happens.

Good news. I am getting coralline algae growing everywhere.
