Mounting for Reefbrite 36" Actinic Blue Lumi Lite Strip LED

I bought the above fixture to add to my ATI T5 fixture and the brackets that came with it don’t work with my T5 fixture. I’ve contacted BRS and Reefbrite and am waiting for their reply. Does anyone else have this Reefbrite mounted to their ATI T5 fixture? Thanks for your help!

Do the have mounting screws on the end caps of the lights like the xhos? If so you can attach a bracket to the end and screw it in to your t5 hood probably, did something similar in my tanks hood

The ATI does have mounting screws but the bracket that came with the Reefbrite model I bought won’t mount the light properly ( I can attach it but the light points the wrong direction). When I contacted the seller they said that only the XHO Reefbrite lights had the mounting bracket, even though I had asked this very question before I bought it. How are these things supposed to mount? Right now I have it attached to my screen frame, but that’s not a good solution. Thanks so much for your help!

I saw a thread (2016) where one reefer was able to ship their bars to Reef Brite and he made the mount work at no charge, but that reefer did pay the shipping cost.

I don’t think they make angle mount for that model, because its is a low par led that is meant to be mounted straight down and not on a angle.

Thanks! I contacted both Reefbrite and ATI to see about a solution and I’m waiting to hear back.

I think I’ve found a solution. I mounted my screen above the tank rim with legos (legos fix everything) and set the light on the screen rim, raising it up from the water. I’m going to paint the legos and the trim black to make it look better. Everything is velcroed in place.
