What is the best way to mount the hose from an overflow into a custom 30L sump? I was thinking of using- CPR Aquatic Sock-It Sump Inlet Pre-filter: Aquarium Sump Mechanical Pre-filter But I am iffy on using socks because I can never seem to get them very clean. But I need a way to mount the hose properly. Any advice on this would be great.
This is how the sump looks-

That CPR sock kit looks like it will work with your flexible tube setup. I got the filter sock holder from BRS but ended up not using it and just slipping the sock over the PVC drain. If you make it easy to change, you will do it often. Get a few socks and just rotate them out.

I used a plastic box siliconed into the corner of the tank to make a"pre-filter" box. I made sure to drill plenty of holes in the bottom. I put my phos guard.carbon and floss in it. Works great for me. I rinse the floss a few times then replace it.
