We've all taken a mouth full of ocean water when at the beach. What's the difference? Oh wait, ocean water has effluent from sewage plants. . So be happy it was tank water.

As I keep saying on other posts, I got a job at Pet World. Second day and I was cleaning out a 55(?) display. I had to siphon it all out and luckily didn’t get a drop in my mouth. Big win for me (freshwater and was nasty/old)

Ever volunteer in an Elementary school? Your tank bacteria pales in comparison to the water fountain in the hall Lol.

You can put the hose in front of the return pipe to start a siphon (while your return pump is on)

Or put the whole tube underwater and pluging the one end until you put it in the bucket, not good with a nano though

Well has not killed me yet been doing it for 30 years or more there was a post about this some old guy like me died though. If it does kill me it was something i loved at least
