Whats the safest way to do this, I only have 2 clownfish, a sixline wrasse and a paired goby/shrimp in my 55 gallon tank.

Can i still use the current sandbed in my 55? Around 60 pounds of sand in there.

Plus i have a new dry 40 pound bag of sand to throw in the 90 gal.

What should i do??

Step one remove rock and corals bag up corals if you have any otherwise just transfer rock into holding buckets with old tank water, next catch and bag fish then mix around sand in the old tank siphon out the dirty water, scoop out sand transfer to new tank, rinse your new dry sand and place into new tank, fill up tank with premixed saltwater half way then add in your rock and aquascape do a quick one can always improve more after completely moved over then fill up tank rest of the way with your premixed saltwater, then aclimate your fish the same way you did in previous tank then you're complete!! Enjoy I've done this more than I'd ever like to count ;)

If your stuff is stable now maybe just a very little one I've done this moved my tank from house to house a lot over the years and I've never had anything negative come of it :)

Would it be better to use all new water or just split new and old 50/50?

Edit: i do have some nitrates in my current water, should i just start with all new fresh ro di saltwater or what? I should be getting my ro di system tommorow, i really dont want to have to cycle again but i will if i have to.
