I will be receiving a glass cages 60x28x20 on monday. According to the tracking the tank and package weighs over 400 pounds. If it was just a straight down set of stairs i wouldnt be as worried however there is a 90 degree turn at the bottom the stairs. Finding help isnt an issue. I figure 4 firefighters and a guy that rows a boat 2000 miles a year can handle the weight, its mostly that the angle is a bit awkward. Would we be better off using towels, straps, and a utility appliance to bring it down? At one point the tank will need to be stood nearly straight up to make the turn. Well more of a 45.
Any and all advice is very appreciated.
