Mp40 on mp10 control box

I have a OLD mp40, the one where the box is sideways. It doesn't work any more as the box got fried in a power surge. I also have a mp10 that has a cracked driver head, but still works.

Wondering, can I pull the control boxes apart on both and use the 40 wiring inside the 10 box and end up with a mp40?

Never mind! I can say yes it does. Just tore the two apart and switched wiring around.
