My tank is 60" long. Should I be running them in sync or anti-sync? If anti-Sync, what percentage recommended?

Also, right now just fish but the plans is sps dominant. What percentage do you recommend when running through various program?

In have 2 on an a 4' 120 running anti sync about 50%. May go higher as things grow in.
Also have 2 MP60's on an 8' 240 in a SPS tank. Also running anti sync about 85%

Here is what I have. Anti-Sync at 75%. I know the time is messed up. Fixed that.

Hi there,

Have a question for you. I'm starting a Red Sea Reefer 250 and not sure what to use for flow? Should go with two MP40's or two/three MP10's for my new set up which will be mostly SPS. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!
Sorry for asking on your post, ndrwater!

Thanks,

Not a problem at all. If it were me, I would probably go with 2 MP40's and maybe later add a 10 if needed. On my 240 I added another 40 when the colonies got big enough. I also have 2 MP10's that I can add to the 120 as necessary.
Honestly, with SPS, you can't go wrong with a TON of flow..

Thanks,
Just started a Reefer 250. Started out with an MP40 and an MP10 I had from earlier. The glass (1/2") is thicker than speced for the MP10 (3/8") and I found it to run a little noisy. I went ahead and picked up another MP40. I put them on either side of the overflow on the back and find I can really generate nice combinations of flow and it looks about invisible. I only run them at about 35% and they are dead silent.

What equipment are you running on your 250?
I'm going with two Radion Gen 4 Pro's, Vectra M1, Bubble Magus BM-T11 Dosing Pump, GFO Reactor, Chaeto Reator, and a Reef Octopus Classic 152-S skimmer. Anything I should add for a successful SPS tank?

Thanks again for the input!
