I have a strange issue with one of my MP60's - it wont connect to mobius (cant see it in the app). It is functioning perfectly using local control.

Doing the reset process as follows

1) clear memory mode MODE+SET = success flashing red/white/blue
2) confirm clear MODE = success flashing red/purple
3) reset SET = nothing happens the pump just keeps flashing red/purple

Should add I've also tried the following. which also gets to step 3 and does not continue.
  • Hold Mode and Set until it flashes Red/White/Blue.
  • Hold Mode until it flashes Red/Purple.
  • Press and hold Mode and Power/Option until the pump powers off and resets. [1]

Wondering if there is anything else I can try before I fork out for a replacement controller board?

Thanks

Was it previously connected?
If not it might be the wireless module not being compatible. If so, try to rollback the firmware then upgrade it again. Theres instructions how to do it.

The pump is new to me - I have been lead to believe it was on Mobius however have no way to confirm. The red flag to me is the inability to perform the factory reset.

You can open up the controller and check to see if its the black wireless chip (Mobius compatible) or the green one.

Are you sure is Mobius compatible?

Updating that I’ve resolved the issue. Opened up the controller and the wireless chip had fallen out. Once reseated the pump is working as expected. Cheers.
