I had a mushroom that slid off of its pedestal and disappeared for a while. I have since spotted it in the sand under the rock. Should I try to relocate it, or should I let it be.

I'm sure that's right, I was just concerned because it has been in that same spot for quite a while.

Mushrooms are hard to glue. You can use a net to try to hold it in a place you want it. If it settlers on sand, let it be for a while and when its base glues enough sand, you can glue that to a rock

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
