My 1/4 Gallon SPS Pico

So i took a whole bunch of pics today....most of them totally suck. i cant get a good shot of any of the corals. and my blue boa and a few others look totally white/dead in the pics :( maybe its time for a new camera.

i think im pretty much stocked atm, maybe a few more zoos or something.

Really awesome man....should really go into dummy-detail on how you made that pump :P maybe we can all make our own without paying vortech price :P

i apologize for the long absence. i got a new position at work and have been swamped with the extra workload. also moved, and moved the tank as well.

alot of the livestock has changed, some strains of acro didnt seem to take well, and even those that i still have that have grown initially died back. i think its mostly the LEDs fault for being so much light over such a small tank. i light shocked them :L

but the setosa in the back has grown like crazy, the blue boa echinata (icefire) died back to a single polyp and is now about 6 polyps. the dendros around. the ponape is teasing my by growing thicker but not branching.

ive recently upgraded the llights even more (now 6W of CreeXRE) and carefully acclimated the stock. to the new lights. the pump still works, and i now dose baking soda through the ATO to maintain an alk of 11 (had previously swung from 10-7 throught the day.

NVTE: the paly are doing okay...even under the LEDs they want to strech for some reason....idk what their deal is haha.

Speg: id love to do that....buttt
the suits at ecotech shut me down last time i tried hahaha

im going to stay more on top of this now. so stay tuned haha

you should put a skimmer on there, like a bubble king... probably should go with the mini
