Working on bringing this 13.5 back to life. This was actually the tank that got me into reefing. Some of my original corals that i still have came out of it. The previous owner lost interest in it so I'm taking it over. Unfortunately when i got it pretty much everything was dead. 3 dead fish floating, a dead shrimp, all corals dead and the light was burnt out. Somehow this maroon clown and two rock flowers were still hanging on. Oh and 1 crab! This tank was a zoa growing machine at one point.

I started out with a quick tank cleaning and water change. The water that came out of the side chamber looked more like coffee than water! Ammonia and parameters were way off. Water is stable now. Lots of cleaning and changes to get this tank back on track. Don't want to change to fast and stress out the clown.

Special thanks to @reef-rc he shipped me his old evo hood and light to help get this project rolling.

I'm glad to see that you stepped in to fill the gap with these creatures and have taken over to steward this tank to the beautiful piece of the ocean that it was meant to be - we're cheering for you!

Howdy,

Getting close to a year, looking good. Is the clown still around?

I really like that tank, it has character. It reminds me of tanks long ago I would see living in Ft Lauderdale eating at the beach in small seafood restaurants. Very cool.
