I have some red hair algae that is at the top of my arch. It’s for sure not cyano- my local store told me to purchase a sally lightfoot crab and that would take care of it. However, I haven’t seen it up there at all….thoughts?

Really nice looking tank. I’m about to set up an Evo also. Can I ask how much rock and sand you used, and from where you got them? Thanks.
Hey Dave -

I used bag of Carib-sea live sand (20lbs) - I used the Fiji Pink. The rock was some that I had from a previous build attempt 10 years ago. I would guess it was around 15-20lbs also. The rock was just sitting in my attic so it was dead at that point.

Love the tank! now I want one of those damsels. Is it a friendly fish? My clown is pretty aggressive so I’m afraid to add any other fish to my 13.5

This is such a cool little tank. I have the same tank and wanted to add a cleaner + pistol shrimp but was scared the pistol might take the cleaner out because of how little room there is. Do the two have any issues and how often do they confront each other? Is the pistol fed quite often?
