How do you like your Helios? Have you ran any other bulb in the past.

Wow nice tank. Is that an Oceanic tank? If so, I have the same tank. Please post more photos, FTS if you have them. What reflectors do you use with the halides?

Do you run a refugium or do you use any of the probiotic systems?

Thanks

I love them but had 2 burn out in a week last order. I think the last batch was made in cheaper factory the insides were different as well.

I have run Ushio 20k and tried Radium 20k. Ushio was ok and Radiums on my PFO HQI ballasts looks at best like a 14k. I could not run the Radiums more then 3 days.

You have to remember I do not run actinics so I need a blue bulb that will make the corals pop.

Yes it is an Oceanic. I use lumenmax elites and get 400 par on the bottom of the tank. It is actually more then I want on the bottom but what I want were the sps are. They seem to have more penetration then the old lumanmax.

I can't really get a FTS because the room is really small. The best i can do is what is posted earlier. Maybe one day I will try to merge two pics together.

I do have fuge and do not run any zoe or like products.
