Ive started a new tank 3 moths the ago. It was always a dream to break down a wall in my house and build in a tank. This came reality 3 months ago. I had a 425 Red Sea and it was full and was time for a upgrade.

I’ve started with dead rocks ( Marco rocks ) and 10% established rock from my current tank.

Dead sand and adding bacteria ..

Kh keeper helped me adjust things from work but the biggest challenge was nutrients.. it was all over the place.

It’s finally settled and para meters are stable and in check.

I’ve dealt with cyano, Dino’s, I’ve seen it all in these 3 months. Fortunately besides few sps I had no major losses and the tank is all ready pretty much full.

I’ve added a copperbwnd witch was promised to be reef safe. But unfortunately he destroyed some of my meat corals .. beside this no losses in corals

Size: 220x80x80

3 ATI flex lighting

Royal exclusive Dream box

Ph meter/ Thermo control

Ozon / uv 89 watt

No water changes method.

Random photos of some inhabitants ..

The tank is all ready pretty much full. So it’s a great start for keeping para meters in check.

To be continued…
