working on clearing algae and adding some more live rock but thinking about adding corals. Recommendations on hair algae removal and starter corals?

I would worry about the algae first, then corals. For the algae probably nutrient reduction such as less feeding and more exporting via ATS, WC, carbon dosing, or filtration media. Other options to help would be a good cuc crew.

I would definitely wait to add corals until the algae is under control. What equipment are you using? :)
