Ok I probably shouldn’t but I’m gonna sit in on the LRO sale today.
@Zoanthids has their streaming thing at 8pm EST that I’ll be at too because well I have an order already coming in from them on Thursday
I’m really needing to stop with the coral purchases
There is equipment I need to purchase and dosing stuff.
I’m thinking to switch over to a 2 part - specifically Randy’s 2 part (which has a 3rd part I also plan on using). I have to determine if I want to get dosing pumps for all 3 parts….plus 1 for the manganese. From my reading and understanding the improved formula does not substantially skew the aquarium's ionic balance.
I probably should read up on the EVS bionic - which I actually have some in my garage that I never used - does it go bad? It’s their 2 part but when I used it before my silicates came back high. But I haven’t been using it and my last ICP test had the same issue. So I’m thinking it’s something else and yeah.
I’d like to get away from dosing by hand for everything (I’m old I forgot if I dose sometimes)
Note to self - you have dosed calcium, magnesium, and potassium this week.
I have some strontium powder I need to make up a batch for dosing purposes.
I would also like to determine which trace elements I can mix together for a simplified dosing solution.
Like the manganese, strontium, potassium- I have these 3 available currently
Anywho it’s still to darn early for a Saturday to be awake if you ask me

Soooo…..one of the guys who attendeds the Zoanthids streaming events lives not far from me…..
We started chatting on Facebook annnndddd he has some pretty stufff…..specifically a bower in a color I haven’t seen before soooo of course I bought it.
I told him I’m looking for octospawns and maybe some different colored hammers …when he gets back into town in a couple of weeks he said he will let me know what he has…..
Anywho here is the new bowerthe flesh at the base is a dark red and there are some other interesting colors….he said some of the colors really just started showing up…but I’ve never seen a yellow bower….so I am happy!!
