Beautiful. What do feed them, and how do keep other mouths away? Mine eats so slowly I have resorted to having to cover it when I feed it.

Hi foxt
I feed vitalis pellets , some LPS and some of the nem ones as well , they seem to give a brilliant feeding response to them .
Yep their slow at eating the food so I have to stand guard with my glass scraper pole lol

Thanks for the response! I feed pellets too, as well as a chunk of table shrimp to a larger acantho. I tried feeding late at night when the fish are not active, and found that the crabs and snails were just as eager to steal food. I don’t have the patience to stand and chase stuff away for 30 mins, so I cover the big piece with a container while it eats. The smaller stuff reacts more quickly, so I let them fend for themselves.

Ho often do you feed? I feed twice a week ..

Love meat corals myself I have 7 in my tank at the moment. I have one that looks a lot like yours here is a couple of pics the rose color with tiny gold speckles( similar to yours) is my favorite. When I feed the tank it swells up and it has great feeding response.

Beautiful! Do you spot feed them, or just rely on whatever they catch when you feed the tank?

I occasionally spot feed them but I feed my tank heavy and they love catching food. They swell up triple the size every time I feed the tank. Couple of them look like Anemones spilling their guts when they are inside out here is Nike (wife named him that because orange Nike logo look in the middle) before and after feeding tank. I love meat corals they are fast becoming my fetish!

Thank you, look at Pacific East Aquaculture on this board great meat corals and amazing service. For online vendor some of the best service I have ever seen. My GF ordered an amazing meat coral 2 weeks ago they called and delayed a week due to cold weather back east. Said they would keep as long as needed to ensure arrival. Excellent communication each day and they called her few hours after delivery to make sure all corals were good and happy. I will be ordering more from them again. Just got this from them last week

AAC, Advanced Aquarium Consultancy
Harlow Essex

They had 3 Aussies last time I was there
I spoke to them last week and they had sold one , someone who works there had another and they had one left , iv not spoke to them this week but I'm hoping it's still there .....
If not they have plenty of other high end stuff to choose from and a unbelievable SPS tank
Really is a good place to grab nice bits

H20 in Brentwood Essex had a couple rainbows aswell but sold fast , he gets alot of professional football players in there I'v been told ...so no competing with them lol
