Had a couple people ask about the progress of my achilles. I've had him for almost 2 years now, he was about 4" when I got him and he's just over 6" now (also about 3" in girth). He only ate nori for the first year, I tried everything to get him to eat a variety but he wasn't interested. Just a few months ago he decided he loved NLS pellets...i'm still working on the mysis and some other things. He's currently house in a 6ft reef tank with a purple tang, but because of his growth we already have an 8ft upgrade in the works for this Spring.

Thanks! He's a huge pain in the butt, and the biggest bully ever...but I really enjoy him :-)

Looks like a fat and happy tang! Mind letting us know your feeding diet and schedule?

Actually anything I can get him to eat ;-) The first year I had him I could only get him to eat nori (tried everything I could to get him to eat other stuff). I would just give him as much nori as he could eat and occasionally soak it in selcon. Finally after about a year and a half all of a sudden he decided he likes NLS pellets. So coming up on two years now, I still feed him as much nori as he can eat and NLS pellets twice a day. I'm still working on mysis, maybe around the 3rd year he'll decide he finally likes them :-)
