My AIO build IM Nuvo 20

What intensity and photo period? I am at 25% and 25% for 8 hrs acclimation. Manual control.

I'm using the reefbreeder app and my meridian 11 is cranked up a bit. I have sunrise set for 11am so that's when the light starts to ramp up and sunset is 9pm. Peak time is from 2pm to 8pm with the following intensities.

Indigo, UV, royal blue 75% and white, cool blue, and Violet/indigo 70%. It been a while since I tested par but IIRC i was getting 300 par down on the derasas.

Wow.

I have been keeping mine at 25% with manual control. Guess I need to do some app homework.
I hated the app for my last light so I vowed never to rely on an app again.
The LPS and Birds Nest started to look like they were receiving too much light.
No way to test par so I am just winging it.

I've found the new app to work pretty well. One of the best features IMO is being able to share schedules. Many members here have there schedules available to try out. I actually started with @VintageReefer schedule then tweaked it to my liking.

My light is only 11" above the water but I'd be happy to get some par readings under different intensities for you if you think they would help. I have an appogee 510 and plenty of spare time.

Thank you. 🙂 Very nice offer.

I was definitely going to look at other members schedules.

I look at it this way, there's no way the Meridian 11 is not going to put out enough par to grow common sps in a 12 inch high lagoon. I am thinking about the Edge 14k addition down the road, as well.

I now have a 11am—11pm schedule shared for the new 14k shallow reef spectrum meridian

I have 2 edge 24" 14K bars waiting to go on my 112.
I have air tested them at only 75%.
14" to the surface and 17" to the bottom simulates my new system.
At 31" of air running air mode on my par meter the 2 were 16" apart and were putting out 150 par at the bottom under each bar.

May I please have update on this system. 🙂 And an image.

I would like to know the basic chemistry and dosing regime.

TIA
This system just got water yesterday.
I will use 50-75lbs of Gulfliverock
Alk & Ca will be handle by Kalk on a Kamoer doser.
A4R will be dosed once demand is there using a Kamoer.
Parameters will be the same as my ext 170.
Temp 77-80
SG 1.026-1.027
Alk 7.5-8
Ca 420-450
Mag 1300-1400
Po4 .1-.2
No3 10-20
Skim heavy with a Tunze 9430dc.
Po4 adjusted when it gets to .2. I adjust down to .1 with gfo.
No3 will be controlled with carbon dosing using Vodka.
I practice heavy in/out on all systems.
Sea Sweep with a Jebao MOW 22 for flow.
Just took this.
You can dm with questions if interested.
