So i have two circulation pumps. both Korrilla. one is 420, and other 240. Where do you guys think i should put them? i was thinking one in right side back wall, the other in the right side beside the return pump nozzle.. so the flow goes in a circle motion.

Thanks!! not a big fan of the places where fish can hide but i hope they don't hide all the times lol.
;)lets call it a "safe place". fish need them sometimes when they get stressed or need a good nights sleep.. Just like mommy....:D

a circle is "laminar" a strait line. You want turbulent so it stays stirred up. try the 240 under the inlet blowing behind the rocks. or on the other side blowing behind the rocks.

edit: turbulent is also what happens when two streams meet.

three types of flow: turbulent, laminar, and surge.:)

Good luck. Sweet tank! Have you done a build thread?

So put the 240 under the inlet and aim it at rocks? and what about the 420?? and i should aim the pump inlet upwards to make the water in the tank waves .. correct? I'm a total noob lol

exactly how you have it now, but add the second PH in the back. blow the flow across/behind the rocks.
