My poor one spot Foxface has had quite a time of it.
I posted a couple months ago when I found him with welts all over his side, that must have come from a run-in with a haddoni carpet nem.
Those healed long ago but now this morning I see him with this on his side:

Took a minute or two to figure it out.
Injury that looks like a round suction cup with a band of deeper scraping at the top.
It seems that the guy below decided he needed more than algae in his diet and thought maybe he'd see how rabbitfish tastes.
Hopefully it won't become a habit.

The blenny sees the Foxface as a competitor for the same food: algae. BTY, my Starry Blenny almost killed by Pink Watchman Goby for the same reason when they were in QT. Had to separate them with eggcrate and 1/4" mesh. The SB would bite the mesh to try to get through it to get at the goby. :(

It's just so odd, I've never really thought of a blenny as being an aggressive or dangerous fish.
Although this guy does have attitude, he's even nipped at my forearm a few times when I was in the tank placing corals.
No pain or mark but I definitely felt it!

My redlip blenny and mag Foxface seem to get along fairly well. The blenny is kind of an a******; he doesnt seem to go out of his way to bug the rabbit or anyone else, but if someone doesnt get out of his way he'll swim right through them lol
