Hi all

I have a pair of breeding Kauderni's the femal have got a odd "lump"/spot, on one side.

She looks fine overall, eating swimming normal as always. I have had them for 2 years now. They where adults when I got them. I think I've got approx 200 babies from them now.

Now look at the pics.

What the heck is it she has on the side???

Should I let her be in the dt, or catch her and move her to my breeding tank? I'm afraid, that it is contagious.... some kind of parasite, spreading to the fast of my fish.....

Anyone got a bid on what it is? It dose NOT look like a wound.....

Thx in advance

It could be Lympho but it could also be an infection of some sort. Did it start out looking like ick at all? Getting bigger slowly? How long has it been there? Did it start out that big?

Hi :)
It startet out as a spot on the side, not raised at all. A light spot on her side. Then it slowly doveloped into what you see now. Now it looks like a "pimple" on the side. I dont think it has grown the last couple of days. And dosent Seem to bother her at all.

Wierd?

Empress, yeah, you might be right on....

If it is so, wouldent it be right to take it out of my tank, so it dosent spread to all my other fish'

What do you think?

I would move the fish into QT and treat with Kanaplex + Metroplex. That would cover bacterial + internal worms.
