Starting a thread for my new tank build. It is a star fire glass rimless (euro braced) tank. The dimensions are 60x28x24. Excited to get this thing up and running. Here are some pictures of the progress so far...

Sump under the stand. I would have a pic with the tank up there, but my wife and I can't lift it by ourselves!!! Lol [emoji23] too big and heavy

Still need to add a couple valves and unions but here is how my plumbing will be set up! Just did a water flow test and it ran awesome!

I rreeeaaallly wanted to go with a Vectra pump for the build I'm working on. I just couldn't justify the cost if it can't connect to my Apex. :(

Yeah I don't run an Apex so didn't have that problem.

But I love the pump!

I only use my apex to turn my pumps off.
That's what I'm doing now, but I like the idea of being able to create a feed mode setting that will run the pump just fast enough to keep a trickle of water going over the overflow and preventing a back siphon into the sump. Plus, at some point I'll be adding the Apex module that will control my MP40s so it'll give me even greater control over flow patterns and programs.
