Anybody speak Flemish? Watch for the third jet and try to figure out how low it it is, I think it's about 15 to 20 feet off the ground.

That jet is crazy close to the ground!!!!
I love the granny video. But my brother's mechanic teacher said it's fake. Still funny though.

I love that jet video, but the granny vid is real. I used to work at a Benz dealership for years. By having your foot on the brake at a full stop, in a Benz, the car tells the SRS computer that it's at a full stop. By impacting the bumper, particularly in the area where the airbag deployment sensor is, causes the computer to think the car has been stuck and is possible moving, thereby deploying the airbag. You can also see the talc in the air from the packed airbag.
Additionally, deploying an airbag in a Benz is not cheap, and getting hit by a deploying airbag really hurts.
I also concurr, all hail Jimmy Page...now I want to listen for Tea for One off of PRESENCE.

I dont buy it.

The airbag deployed with too little force and took too long to open fully.

Airbags are designed to deploy when triggered by the mass of a vehicle hitting a still object at 12mph. There is no way an old woman swinging a purse had the force to mimic a 3000lb vehicle moving at 12mph, hitting a solid wall.

Frontalairbag deploy around 30-50 milliseconds. It takes 100 milliseconds to blink your eye. Therefore, if you can watch the airbag go from closed to open in real time and SEE it inflate, then its fake.

In this video you can clearly see the airbag inflate initially and then move upwards as it totally inflates. The people who designed this "fake airbag" likely did so in order to prevent the driver from injuring himself with the sunglasses.

Real airbags dont open in 2 stages like the one in the video. They open in one stage with the middle of the airbag being the quickest portion to open. Not the "upsweeping" motion seen in the video.

I dont buy this video as being authentic.

Not really, benz had issues with very low speed deployments, and a very small handful of spontaneous deployments. It's rare, but it can happen.

So rare that both happened in this vidoe as the exact moment that an old woman was walking by and hit the car with her purse...just as someone happened to have a video camera. :cool:
