Just set up my first reef tank! And my first 125 gallon. It is definitely a journey and ten times different from freshwater but im officially obsessed with this hobby

whoa.. looks awesome. I like the aquascape, it employs depth . Looking forward how its evolves, keep us posted
 
Tank looks good. I have a 125 as well. Welcome to the hobby and good luck! It will be quite a journey!
 
Looking great! If that is a xenia I see I would strongly recommend putting it on its own rock in the sand otherwise in a year it will take over a large portion of your rock work.
 
Just an update to the build thread! I just got 9 new zoa frags and I acquired a yellow tang, as well as a diamond goby and an engineering coby that only comes out when it’s dinner time haha. I had to redo the right side of the aquascape because the rocks that I thought were glued down most certainly weren’t and I knocked it over but I like the new one better, so!

So roughly 7 months old?
What type of rock did you use, was it all the same type?
What size is your sump?
