My first 70g reef tank build started in December 2020. Sand bottom - 2 inches. HOB filter. No live rock. Cycled with Dr Tim's. Aiming for a low maintenance tank.
Fish added 2/15/21. Two clown fish. One emerald crab. Hermit crabs and snails.

Aquascape. No water. This was back in November 2020.

After adding first two clown fish on 2/15. Bought them from PETCO. Since they were bedding on anemones, I bought them too. Reduce the stress on the fish.

One of the corals I bought at the WWC Tax sale. Corals arrived on March 5th.

So far tank seems to be doing well. Parameters are were they need to be. I did have to lower the intensity of the lights to reduce PAR readings to around 150 right below the water line.
