Here's my second try at my first aquascape for my 75 gallon reef tank. I had a big arch before work little to no hiding places see:

I took it down and done something different making sure to keep the caves and hiding places in mind. I'm hoping to have some happy fish once I get my fishless cycle complete. What do you guys think?

I’m still relatively new to all of this but my first take on this scape is it may limit you a bit with the types of coral you could get. If you want to get like sps it needs to be higher. It looks really good for soft corals and lps in my opinion though. I have trouble picking aquascapes myself and I think it’s a problem all of the people in this hobby have gone though. At the end of it all it depends on what you want to do with the tank. I will say there may be some low flow areas in the small short arches and this may lead to some build up of something I may be wrong about thing though.

Definitely has a lot more hiding spots for the fish.

When I had a wider tank with less depth I went for a Dual Island look to create more visual interest. I also like to get more vertical for more visual interest (Have to be careful with stability though).

I have a cube now but Here is what it looked like when I first started it as an example.

I did practice with my rock with a bunch of different configurations before adding water which helped. Just be careful not to drop the rocks and break the glass. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes: I actually cut a piece of cardboard the size of my tank bottom and practiced on that first.
