Recently just finished getting my sump running. I'm just worried that I don't have the flow needed in the refugium. Water surface doesn't have much movement thru the sump.

How many gallons per hour do you have running right now? I wouldn't be to concerned with the water surface in the sump. As long as you're breaking the tension in the display. I have approximately 650 gallons per hour being pushed through my sump and I hardly ever see any surface ripples with how the sump is setup :)

I have a hang-on overflow rates 300gph on a 29 gal tank and 13 gallons in the sump. Display surface is always moving. My chaeto sink to the bottom in my sump that's what had me concerned? I do plan to add more live rock once I get it and have it cured.
