My first experience with GHL.....please help

My god has today been frustrating. I am trying to start up my GHL doser 2.1......just plug the usb port into your computer and it will install the driver.....I am here to say that did not work. I tried to find the program file.....no avail.....

Can someone help me getting connected to my doser? I tried with the GHL app on my smart phone and it doesnt work. Any help would be appreciated....is GHL very hard to work with? I have now spent more time trying to set up this doser as my time to set up my entire APEX system....

What OS are you using? I had trouble with Windows 7

Sorry to see, and read that your having issues.

Did you download the latest software from GHL website?

Once you do that and install the software it will ask if you want to install the usb driver say yes.

Then you can plug the doser in and configure it.

Pretty easy to use and setup :)

Make sure you run in it in admin mode also.

Hello, and thank you for the reply. I have the latest software on my computer, installed the driver.....but still cannot connect the doser to the software.....I selected the doser and hit the connect button. I tried it for every USB port I have on my computer......still nothing.

Can you do a screenshot of your connection screen in the GHL desktop software?

@Lousybreed - Connect your Doser via USB, then open your DEVICE MANAGER in Windows. Expand the Ports (Com & LPT) section, and post a screenshot.

Here you go! I think we have found an issue. I have installed the driver but maybe it didn’t work?

Marco....I figured it out once you pointed me to the device manager. Ditto....thank you for taking time out to help me. I would have never figured this out.

@David Childs - what issue did you have with windows 7

Mainly with the USB driver. I still have issues where I lose connection and have to close the console, disable \ enable the driver then open the console to make it work.
