I just bought my first shroom today from a LFS an it is not attached to anything.. I watched a video on YouTube about how to get them to attach to something but um I'm a little nervous if I'm doing this right lol Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Looks good to me what are you trying to attach it to? Some rubble it looks like? Just give it time should be all good!

Yep. You got it.
No reason to freak out though.
I probably have twenty to thirty free “swimming” around. Happens when they split in to new ones or decided they didn’t like the current where I placed them. They find a new spot and attach to something else.

shells and small rubbles are great but it will takes days or even week or so before they really attach properly.
Nice blue mushroom!

Disco shrooms are pretty hard to hurt.
You can propagate them by cutting them in half through the mouth. Tidal Gardens has a YT video on how to.
Yeah I watched one fragging video an i honestly dont know how great i would be at cutting them up like that lol
