Hello, I just purchased a Cannon 100MM 2.8 Macro lens and am learning how to shoot coral for the first time. Here are some of my better shots. Any tips on how I can improve would be appreciated. I'm not sure how to best control DOF and AF. Thanks.

Nice, practice, practice and practice.
Set an ISO to around 500, get your F number up to get better DOF.
I shot this earlier with a Tamron 90, I have the tip of the lens touching the glass and square on and the camera body has to be horizontal, any angle adds distortion.
Subject about 18 inches away from the glass.

Great picture and thanks for the advice. I'll practice this weekend.
