40 breeder with a 29 gal sump. Its what i had as far as extra tanks laying around. Drilled the return and drain lines in the back, built and tested the plumbing. Painted the back and bottom black. And were good to go... just ordered a aquatop 607gph return pump because the spare pump i have and use for water management purposes is WAY too loud to use as a return pump. Had a spare 100watt heater and what i like to call a "toy" protien skimmer. Would really like to upgrade my bubble magnus skimmer on my 65 gallon display to a bigger recirculating skimmer and put the current one on this new frag tank.
Here are some pictures

Nice. Do you have plans to skim the stand or are you going open display sump?

No, not gonna do anything else to the stand. Its purely a frag tank, no asthetics, just want the tank itself to make the coral pop..

Sounds good. A frag tank is next on my list as well...just have to find a place for it.

lucky for me I have a spare bedroom in my house. I was gonna put it next to my display and even plumb it in but decided it was better to have two separate systems. my next tank for propagation is gonna be the rimless 80 gal.
