This is my first saltwater cycle
I'm 10 days in, started the cycle using Dr tims ammonia dosed to 2.0 ppm
Here are my results 1 week apart.
Does it look like things are going in the right direction
Thanks

Yes. Ammonia converts to nitrites which converts to nitrates, so when you see your nitrates start to come down from the current level you'll be close to the end of your cycle.

Thanks for your quick reply.
Glad things are looking like they are going the right way, I was just worried that it was going a bit too quick.
I have a bottle of dr tims one and only would it be benfical to add that now?

I wasn't planning to add fish yet.
I ordered the dr tims bactiria the same time as I did the ammonia but there was a shipping issue I received the ammonia but have only just received the bacteria, so I was thinking if I could add it now to help out with the cycle.
I'm in no rush to add any livestock

FWIW, the nitrate is not an accurate value. It is nitrite causing a false high reading on the nitrate kit.

It does look like it is proceeding fine. IMO, the main (if not the only) thing to focus on is ability to process ammonia.

You are already 10 days in, I'd just roll with the traditional cycle. It should take about 4 weeks total.
