This is my first build I’m pretty happy with it for right now. The scape could have been better but it’s ok. Tank is going on 5 months now. Everything has been really good. I know it’s just a matter of time but this this has just been a real joy.

It’s a euphyllia dominate as you can tell I don’t know if the Zoas and Xenia will stay or if they will go else where.

ALK: 7.6
CAL: 450
MAG: 1550
PO4: .04

I’ve been dosing 2ml of AFR Everyday with 2ml of MicroBacter7 every other day for the past about month. Maybe a little longer. I have a Kamoer dosing pump for the AFR just haven’t set it up yet.

Ai Prime: at 41%
Light Cycle: 2 8 2
Ai Axis 40 Return @ 70%
IM Rotating Return Nozzle
Ai Nero 3 @ 20%

Filteration:
3x3in Filter Pad
InTank Filter Floss Holder
Bag Of Carbon
Ceramic Media In Middle Compartment
Left Over Live Rock With Return Pump

I got a couple of new zoas recently and a paly. The macro algae is growing rather quickly. The coralline growth is insane I’m finally starting to get growth on the back wall, it noticeably different in size nearly every day.

I’m going to have to move the Xenia soon it’s walking it won’t be too long before it’s on the rocks.

New corals:
Bob Marley Zoa
Fire And Ice Zoa
Captain Jerk Paly

I had to move the Xenia it was about to walk off onto the rocks. On the up side my conch seems to be enjoying it. Lol. I moved the indo gold torch up top. I may try to squeeze on more in up there.

I made a few changes today and added a couple of new corals one torch and one hammer.

I finally had to move the toad stool the torch finally touched it.

I’ve been dosing the all for reef it was kind of getting to be a pain so I just went back to using the Red Sea foundation. My tank was consuming a consistent amount of alkalinity but not cal or mag. I felt like I had to test every day. Just to clarify I’m not chasing a specific number I just want to keep it in a range where I have a degree of latitude.

I switched my salt to Tropic Marin Pro. Everything seems pretty happy after the water change. We’ll see how it goes.
