Last coral shipment for a while

Hello everyone!

I havn't updated in a while so I took the camera to the tanks this evening. The past week or two has been pretty busy with the tanks, I had the impeller break on my brand new skimmer which left me skimmerless for a better part of 2 weeks, seems to be breaking in nicely now that I have it running again. Also tuning the frag tank to run just as smoothly as the main tank, skimmer still being a rascal and overflowing constantly but that should work itself out soon.

I added a bunch of coral these past two weeks;

ORA Green Planet
SniperSPS Blue Lagoon
RR Nauti Spiral Monti
Tyree Joe the Acro
Dragonskin Acro
Rommel’s Watermelon
Purple Slimer
Lime in the Sky
ORA Ice Tort
Toxic Green Tort

to name a few.. or all, fine.

Also added 2 new pairs of fish as well!

A pair of Black Snowflakes from Mr. Chad Vossen himself! & a bonded pair of Helfrichi Firefish (currently in QT) off of Divers Den.

I wasn't able to get a good picture of either, the firefish are hiding, the QT isn't well lit, and the Black Snowflakes are still pretty tiny and it was hard to get them to stay relatively still in plain sight!

Anyway here are the pictures! Enjoy!

Nope! Switched to an ATI 6x54w Powermodule and I am loving it

Bulb Combo is;

Front
Blue +
Blue +
Coral+
Coral+
Blue +
Blue +

I might switch out a Coral+ for a KZ New Gen and maybe a Blue+ for a Giesemann Pure Actinic, I have the bulbs just have to put them in and see if I like the look.

I can't wait either! I have a Alk spike after my controller decided to switch all the outlets around, got to around 13dkh before I noticed it. Only casualty was my ATL Shades of Fall but I was able to frag it and they are doing fine. To make that week even worse my new skimmer impeller snapped in the first day, so had to wait a week to get a replacement sent out. Needless to say my growth was pretty non-existent. Everything is coming around and starting to shoot out more and more growth, I am very happy to see what the next couple months bring!

I had an issue with alk as well...my timer stopped working so I had no alk in the tank for 3 days... The crazy thing is when my alk dropped
( this happened before )
My coral growth took off for a few days then died out bc there was no more alk for them to use...
Alk went from 10dkh to 5dkh a while ago.
