My first zoa (Rasta) added a week ago, is under a Maxspect MJ-L260 for 8 hrs at 50% intensity, amonia and nitrite at 0 ppm, nitrate at 20 ppm, salinity at 1.025 ppm, kind of worried if it's doing okay or not, please share your thoughts and suggestions, sorry for the blurry image and video

No need be sorry for the blurry video and pic, it happens😉. Anyways, looks good, I would observe it for at least a few days, though.

Why do you run lights at 50%, are you lights double as strong as needed for your tank? If your lights are the correct strength for your tank then they should be up around 80%+, why run the lights at only half strength.

Are you testing any other parameters?

Any other corals in your tank?

You don't need to test nitrite anymore; your tank is cycled.

Phosphate would be the first thing that comes to mind. In new tanks it can sometimes be depleted when calcium carbonate of fresh substrate or rockscapd aren't yet saturated. When a lot of old rocks were used it's also possible that phosphates are elevated. In that case placing the Zoa in your tank would be like a sudden phosphate spike which corals seem to hate.

One important thing: If your tank has not yet gone through the ugly phase the coral will have some stressful times ahead. First diatoms which can compete over nutrients if they are sparse and then green hair algae which can even overgrow weakened frags.
