yes, just took them the other night.

Canon XT (edit) i did not use my macro lens for these shots. Standard lens that came with the camera

i had it on the running man setting (sports or action setting) and just held the shutter down and took 5 -10 shots at a time. Deleted all the bad ones and these are some of the good ones.

a Supermale, or permanent male is a male that no longer can morph into a female.

Generally very large male, and the best coloration.

When having wrasses in pairs, the males produce much brighter colors and display their fins fully entended much more often.

Since the addition of the 2 females, my male i almost always "flashing"

very cool to see.

Sorry for the highjacked thread.

Awesome flames again!

what's a supermale?

nice pics of some beautiful fish!!

I gotcha, i just would hate to have them mangle eachother, and then you have 2 beat down male flames....neither of which would be pretty...

Thats awesome that you have 7...do they school at all?

mine just co-exist, not much more than that. the male keeps a close eye on all the other fish in the tank though...

ok, i just took a few, however they look nothing like juniors. they dont really school, but if i put my hand in the tank they seem to all get together. other than that they roam the rocks and the male keeps them all in check. really not much aggression between them at all.
