I've had this Lobo for about a month now and it's the most amazing coral I have so far. It's feeding response and physical changes that it has gone through are amazing. Woke up this morning and it is almost translucent! I have a 60 gallon mixed which I setup 5 months ago and I added two AI
Prime HD lights two weeks ago and my corals love them.
2 Questions... How do lobos propagate and what does the translucency mean? IMAG1177-1.jpg

You need to drop a few test results on here from your water.

What kind of flow?
What is your stock list?
What do you feed your fish?
Do you target feed the lobo?

That actually looks like a trachyphillia radiata. Feeding is important, to much light or to little nutrients can play a role. It actually looks pretty healthy to me though.

More of a importance is your Po4 and No3 with a reliable test kit as it will tell you your nutrients level.
How are other corals looking? Pics?

Forgot to mention lighting, I have two AI Prime HD lights running about 60% for about 10 hours.

Thanks.

Breakfast is important start of the day.
CAL checker on the hanna.................. :(
Po4 is a important factor to know, it's one of the test kits you should have as it can tell you a lot about the balance of your system when test often.
Any ways looking forward to your results.

Are you saying I wasted my $$ ?

Everybody knows they not as accurate as the regular redsea or sali's.
You to sterile your test vials, have absolutely 0.0 RODI water in order to have a accurate test.
Don't worry you were not the only one.
The positivity about this forum is that if you had ask the bet test kits for your money hobbyist had told you or pointed you to some links that had some info.
Well $50 isn't much if you think that many ppl losing hundreds in this hobby.
