hi everyone

I just wanted to show off my recently aquired "tank raised" McSnowflakes (as I have affectionately named them) that I got from my buddy crooks

picked them up a couple weeks ago (they were born sometime in January I think) and they appear to be adjusting well...as you can see below, they are also very hungry little buggars

There are currently four together, but be advised they will be separated into pairs very shortly. Their sizes range from 3/4" to 1"

so without further ado...

pix of pair #1

after noticing a little "tussle" happening, I made the decision to separate the clowns into pairs.....
here are pix of the "larger" pair...it's become clear that the clown with the white dorsal fin is the male as he "dances" for the larger clown all the time now...

pix of pair #2

annnnd......pix of the "smaller pair"

Note: you can see on the semi (the smallest of all) some of his "beatdown" scars :(
I'm sure he'll heal quickly as his appetite is healthy

Snowflakes are cool and yours are sweet great lookin clowns

Thanks for putting these pics up Craig. Now put a pic of your new one since one of these wasn't good enough.

Nice clowns. I've been looking for some myself and can't seem to find a pair asnice as those.

thanks everyone...I really do love my snowflakes...
your welcome Matt...and yeah, I'll try to get some pix of the "new" guy asap...just real busy at the moment...BTW, it wasn't that the other one wasn't "good enough", I just preferred a different "look" that was all...:nerd:

gar732...why not drop Crooks a pm and see if he'll ship some...I don't know if he can but it never hurts to ask :p

I'm hoping to get 5-6 for my 450 display. I betting it's best to get them all the same time when introducing to the display ?

Ya that is what I would do. Now you have me thinking maybe I will throw 4 or 6 in my next tank.

Nice looking snowflakes.
Gimmito, you could most likely get away with 6 in a display with that kind of volume, and I would try to add them at the same time, or possibly in 2 groups.
